In-House Engineering

Our operations start at the drawing board, where our team of professional engineers examine every aspect of the project design for constructability. This helps us identify potential challenges at an early stage and create solutions that add value to the overall budget and schedule.

Throughout construction, our engineering team communicates directly with field superintendents, project managers, and project owners. Their input streamlines decision-making and improves our responsiveness to unexpected challenges.

Equipment & Fabrication

For more than 90 years, it’s been our belief that quality bridge building requires quality tools. That philosophy has led Scott Bridge Company to invest in specialized heavy machinery like cranes, floating barges, pile drivers, and others needed to get the job done right.

Additionally, we constructed a state-of-the-art fabrication facility to support the parts and material needs of our bridge crews. Our experienced machinists and welders are capable of making project components on-demand, reducing order and delivery delays.

Mobilization Capabilities

Our ability to serve our clients depends ultimately on getting the right teams, the right equipment, and the right materials in place as quickly as possible. Whether we’re anticipating bridge damage from a hurricane, or planning a railroad repair within a tight schedule window, we stand ready to mobilize at a moment’s notice when called upon to deliver.

Once a project is underway, field crews are set into motion with support from in-house equipment and material delivery that can access locations by land and water.
